But before that, we must remember a great truth:

Our compatriots did not sacrifice their lives in the month of Dey so that we would remain silent. They shed their blood so that we would become more awake; so that we would break the silence; so that we would move beyond fear; so that we would understand that freedom is not a gift that falls from the sky or is bestowed upon us by foreigners, but a covenant that nations attain through their own blood, wisdom, solidarity, and will.

Today is the time for every freedom-loving Iranian to be a light in the darkness. We must find one another, build trust in one another, unite scattered forces, and form an aware, organized, and prepared society. This path is not the path of unplanned emotion. It is the path of wisdom, courage, discipline, and perseverance.
